This is going to be an incredibly off topic post, and Charles, I will not bitch if you delete it.

My wife is going in for surgery on the 14th and will find it difficult to climb steps for a couple of weeks. I would like to transmit the TV signal upstairs for her so she can watch her shows. Does anyone know of a decent method of wirelessly transmitting the signal from a cable PVR to a TV.

Not sure what a PVR is, but a Slingbox may be what you want: slingbox.com
