I went to bed last night at 11pm after we got home.

Two days of camping at Pleasanton for the height of the heat wave. HAHAHAHAHAHA it felt blessed cool at 98 when we got home. And of course it was 77 when I got up to go for my run today.

I’m pretty sure 77 was the lowest temperature we saw on Saturday night-Sunday morning.

At 113, your keys get hot just sitting in the shade. TRUST ME I NOW KNOW.

Funny how your perspective changes, huh?

Saturday, when the inside temp had climbed all the way up to 92, and the outside temp had dropped all the way down to 94, The Younger Boy and I sat out on the patio. The slightest motion of the air was like a cool breeze!

Today, it’s 82 and humid, the kind of weather I loathe, that makes me want to huddle in A/C, and I feel like it’s perfect.
