Reports vary on broccoli’s contribution to longevity. The guy who owned the world’s oldest cat (38 years and 3 days), and who had another one who lived to be 34, says he doesn’t do anything unusual except put chopped broccoli and asparagus, and coffee in their food. Otoh, former president George HW Bush hates broccoli (but does consume coffee and asparagus) and is still with us at age 93.
