You know, I thought of something interesting right now because of you just saying that animals and such are God’s creation. Shouldn’t those people be more hospitable to the idea of wildlife conservation. Since after all we’d be protecting God’s creations in their eyes? Maybe I’m overthinking. Seriously though there’s something too cute about little monkeys in people clothes. I want to hire one as a chaffeur :).

There was a letter to the editor in the local paper a few years back in which the writer felt protection for the earth, ie. no excessive logging here in the northwest, was unnecessary as God was going to lay the rapture thing on us and there would be a New Earth so why bother.
In recent times there has been a christian green movement afoot which subscribed to the idea that since this was God’s Earth we should be more careful with it. Ironically it is getting strangled in the cradle by the present christian political milieu.
