Just read the TPM round up of the brain battle between Bill O and DuKKKe.

Bill O’Reilly apparently stopped himself from saying “white supremacist” and changed it to “that your organization isn’t looking out for the white, European race”.

Bill also managed to Magic Balance Fairy the whole issue with the standard “Well, there’s minorities who are racist, too!” meme.

Fuck him and fuck Fox News. It’s nave of me to think this, but Fox could have actually done something good for their viewers and the country by calling out Duke for what he is: an ignorant racist.

Tell me again how they don’t have a tightly scripted agenda that passes as news.

I’m a little on edge today about this stuff because I’m about ready to cut my cousin loose on FB. He’s pulling that “I’m not racist, but look what at THOSE PEOPLE do!!!” horseshit again.

My cousin has been dropping the N bomb since he was a toddler. Guy’s repeating the bigoted cycle of his father and grandfather, and he’s most likely going to repeat it with his infant son. I really have no interest in watching this.

The corker is that he lived in Key West for several years, and went on a kick of posting gay friendly stuff on his feed for a while. It looks like none of that tolerance applies to skin color.
