Maybe I’m not seeing it. I don’t see what striking the word “federal” from existing funding (banning federal funds from being used for abortions) defunds anything in the district of columbia:

Sec. 814. None of the Federal funds appropriated under this Act shall be expended for any abortion except where the life of the mother would be endangered if the fetus were carried to term or where the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest.

That was part of the last budget passed so basically it’s the current law. Am I missing something?
