Some of the comments at the original article that the Freepers are bleating about are great:

Yeah, the same dipshits who are now popping a gasket over pictures of gay and lesbian soldiers and sailors kissing in public are the ones who predicted doomsday scenarios when DADT was being dismantled, screaming “It’ll tear the military apart!”

The one comment is right, most of those wingnuts I’ve heard sounding off about reinstating DADT and having a rage-gasm right now generally didn’t serve, probably wouldn’t have lasted long had they done so, and overall are piss poor armchair generals at that.
