I have to agree with IT. Granted, I haven’t been very active here lately, so I haven’t ready every comment in every article, but I haven’t seen anything I would call making excuses or sticking out one’s neck. Making excuses for what? Has someone condoned the violent suppression of free speech? ‘Cause that would be a first here, AFAIK. Who is sticking out their neck for whom, and in what capacity?

So far the story checks out. Kimberlin is indeed a douchebag with a violent history. He is involved in various left wing sites. There is a recording of a 9-11 call that appears to be genuine. We has at least one confirmed report that a local DA is investigating. It’s a safe assumption that if the 9-11 call never happened it would be a pretty short investigation.
