My understanding about Cooch’s desire to revive the sodomy law was that there was a 47 year old guy who got an underage girl to Hooverize him, and because of the way the statutory rape law is written, a blowjob (one word, klys) didn’t count as statutory rape.

Seems more like a situation crying out for a legislative solution, rather than trying to use a statute that has already been ruled unconstitutional, but I’m a Molecular Biologist, not a lawyer.

His “desire” is as transparent as he is. Reviving the law is about returning things to a state where homosexuality is effectively illegal under Virginia statutes.
