Republicans are not speaking out publicly against Trump — that has not changed.

But in the last 24 hours or so, many senior Republicans who are very friendly with Trump have completely shut down and stopped defending Trump off the record.

They’re still fucking cowards whose silence is assent. This is their stopgap measure to try and continue to get Trump policies (their GOP agenda) done, while “distancing” themselves from Trump criminal conduct.

This needs to be outed for what it is - a sham. They either are enabling Trumpworld through their silence, or they’re going to stand for the rule of law and hold these fuckers accountable.
