We were just promised a ride in the trunk, if we didn’t stop whatever it was needing to be stopped.

That trunk ride never did materialize, though.

But we DID saute’ our pet turtles; brought them along on a trip, and left them on that back shelf of the car in the sun for just a LITTLE bit too long.

Was there a funeral for the turtles?
