OK, sorry, got overheated for a moment there.

Still, the point is: Rush Limbaugh is one of the informal leaders of the GOP.

Bill Maher is nothing to Democrats, and is not a Democrat himself.

I really don’t agree, though he is a very influential figure. But Rush is also almost impossible to oppose for Republican politicians, due to the fact that he has more access, via his radio program, than Republicans in Congress do to the Congress critters constituents.
