The most fun me and a buddy had in a D&D campaign was him playing a Paladin and me playing a Lawful Evil Ranger/Rogue and driving the rest of the party nuts by getting along.

Most fun? I had a woman who played a thief who’s alignment changed daily based on the moon. Full moon she was pure CN. New Moon she was LN. Deep swings into good or evil based on a coin she flipped first thing every morning.

Kept our Paladin _really_ confused. She came up true N on all alignment magic. :)
