the grocery stores I went to yesterday in Maryland were mostly empty, which was surprising. They were more crowded last week.

There is a 10 person maximum that has been ordered by our governor. Barnes and Noble books store was only allowing that many people in the store but the grocery stores didn’t seem to be restricting the number of shoppers. Although again there weren’t many people in the parking lots or stores to begin with.

The companies that ship new stock to stores are still shipping their normal amounts, which would be enough to restock normally purchased amounts, but not the panic buying we’ve seen.
