The article mentions the assumption that there is “natural social distancing in the countryside”, which seems to be bullshit if you think about it for more than a few seconds. It’s not like everyone is out standing in the cornfields a quarter of a mile apart from everyone else. People congregate in homes and stores and work like they do in urban areas, except these places are usually a substantial car drive apart from each other.
