They may have had time to connect, but not download 2 apps! It takes a minute. First you find it, then you download it. And why would the kid call dad to show him the app if they were tee-heeing behind his back? Nah, probably one someone returned and got put back on the shelf. Nobody would bother to check to see if someone had downloaded an app before returning it.

Oh, but they should. It is a new era we live in. Pleading ignorance and pointing fingers just shouldn’t cut it anymore.

Buying your kids an internet ready device and handing it over to them without engaging in “due diligence” is parental negligence.
