Weiner did something slimy and I do consider it a form of cheating in his marriage, at least emotionally.

I do not consider it a matter for public consumption. It is insanity to expect moral purity from our public servants when we as a society cannot expect it of ourselves.

It’s not so much the moral purity angle that bothers me as much as the mindblowing fact that people such as Vitter and Weiner and Gingrich and Gore and Edwards and countless others in the public eye show such a mind-blowing lack of judgment, given that they KNOW they’re constantly under the watch of thousands of sleazebags just waiting to be the one who busts the story of their infidelity open.
