It’s so crooked, I want to gag. And by being forced to buy them, they have to spend money on buying them and upkeep, rather than paying down its debts and keeping its people alive.

It is so amazingly crooked. I half think we should buy those Submarines off of them. For more than they bought them for. We can find some bloated Military project to dump to pay for it.

All this is doing are giving Germans jobs building unneeded weapons.

That we shouldn’t do. If we buy them, we should resell them to Taiwan after taking custody of them. That would give the Chinese government a rather pointed bit of defiance.

The USN itself doesn’t need those subs. Our Virginia-class boats are better.
