Like with Maddow, Pierce has been a fan of Sanders for months, made arguments for his candidacy and in support of his continuing to run after it became obvious he wasn’t going to win, and has gone after the DNC for the perception that they rigged the game in Hillary’s favor. But now both are realizing that Bernie is destroying whatever good will he had built up, not simply in the party but with voters, and its time for him to drop out. Given his last line, I think even Pierce at this point realizes that a lot of his assumptions about Bernie are proving to have been mistakes.
