No-bid contract. Those are the keywords. DT can say he did this but since it is a no-bid contract there are very few if any regulations that will guarantee the items will work.

I’m generally happy with the way Chris Sununu (R-son of asshole John) has been handling things here in NH, but he’s wrested control of federal aid from state Democrat-lead legislature’s oversight and, yep, his first uses of money have been to give no-bid contracts to his republican supporters (like $450K to a developer to use a hotel ballroom as a “command center”). They just can’t help themselves.

(And a pet peeve is that he stands in the way of full legalization of weed when all the surrounding states have legalized and you can buy it in Mass*, soon in Maine, and in Quebec if you could get across the border. *They suspended sales, but will start up in the next week or so.)
