I particularly enjoy Barton’s contributions such as “The Founders rejected Darwin” and a new favorite “Abortion is already banned in the Constitution via the seventh amendment.” Yep this is the guy Mike Huckabee thinks we should all be listening to. Hell Barton’s extreme views bother me but his contempt for facts bothers me even more.

I consider the embrace of revisionist history to be a giant alarm bell. It’s a sign how deep the tribalism is, a justification (Argument from Counterfeited Authority) for their general understanding that they’re the “real Americans” and everyone else is “un-American.” These are people that really want a two-tiered society.
