He can communicate, but his speech is pretty repetitive and prone to echolalia.
He can read and write to about the same level.
So there’s a lot of asking for things he wants (pop, yes!) and answering basic questions… and gibberish.
Occasionally he’ll start going on about something grim he finds hilarious, like the time our dad fell into a patch of nettles, or this incident we think didn’t happen where he threw a rock at a fire truck.
What is his prognosis….. will he live a full life to a ripe old age?
