Until you split your thumb open like a grape with a 2.5lb sledge while driving out a pinion, you’ve not really experienced the joy of auto-repair.

Not that per se, but I’ve had plenty of injuries of varying severity working on autos and antique tractors both. I’ve been around the block a few times.
