Remember the central image of the Tea Party: armed uprising against a tyrant and usurper. Without a tyrant to rage against, their whole construct falls apart. The fact that this “tyrant” was elected plays no role: those elections were bought or stolen, etc., and they will not rest until the tyrant is toppled.
