In run-up to special election in U.S. 18th District, Conor Lamb makes pitch to coal miners

“You elect this man to Congress, and you won’t have to lobby him one minute,” said Cecil Roberts, the president of the United Mine Workers of America, who gave an impassioned speech urging the crowd to vote for Mr. Lamb. “He’s for your pensions, he’s for your union, he’s for your health care. This is a ‘yes’ vote.”
