OT- I received a response from the curator of the Jerusalem zoo Re: last night’s thread about the Hamas slaughter of the animals at the Gaza zoo. I completely understand the situation they are in. There is no sense in them putting themselves at risk to reverse the damage inflicted by those savages.

“Although we really want to help the animals at Gaza zoo (and I sympathized with your true concern) there is no way we can help the zoo nor the animals. We are less than an hour drive from Gaza but the current situation is putting us more far than any European or American zoo which wants to help. Sorry!”
