It is permeated through society by business interests. Always talking about getting something for free. Buy one get one free for example. It is a marketing gimick and I whole heartedly agree that the use of “free” for government services should be banished form the conversation.

I really don’t want to know the fraction of the population that would fall for “Buy two for twice the price, get the third one FREE”.
