My RW brother supported DeVos (of course) because American students perform abysmally in testing compared to their counterparts elsewhere. The solution he said is to return school control to parents and local boards. When I point out that our competitors have a single nationwide curriculum, it’s *crickets* and back to parents are all experts at knowing the ideal school program.
