The other night I posted about fliers being posted in bars, etc. about fundraisers for people that are sick and don’t health insurance. I just saw this on Facebook for someone I went to high school with. This is in Montgomery County in Texas.

Since October 2015, we have been hit really hard with medical expenses. They are growing by leaps and bounds. The biggest hurdle right now is the mortgage. Because we have to pay for medical expenses before the doctors will see us, we’ve had to pull from our mortgage account. If we do not raise $1900 by this Friday, June 30th, our home will go into foreclosure. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I am still looking at 3 more surgeries. One is for a hernia that developed during recovery of one of my back surgeries. The second is a shoulder replacement and the third is an internal stimulator to help with the pain from my back down my right leg and groin. All treatment has been placed on hold.
