The igNobel prizes were awarded a couple weeks ago.

Amongst the winners:

A group of scientists who induced standing waves on earthworms
A group of scientists who gave helium to a crocodile to study sound in non-avian reptiles
The governments of Pakistan and India, for having their diplomats play “ding dong ditch” on each other’s homes (this was the igNobel Peace Prize)
Politicians Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, and several dictators in Medicine, showing politicians have greater effect on the course of a pandemic than scientists.
