Fingers crossed, we’ll see Kansas referendum like turnout across the country in November. If Republicans think women are going to “get over it” about being turned into Handmaids, I believe they will find out differently. It’s even possible that many Republican women will use their secret ballot to defend their rights.

Even people who oppose abortion on moral grounds want to know that there is an emergency exit in the case of rape, incest, their daughter getting knocked up by some loser, or the spawn of one of their extramarital affairs coming to light…
