You know the word “custard” has a kind of unpleasant ring to it. It just doesn’t convey the mouth watering lusciousness of the dish itself.

I picture a large round cake like the ones in the pictures. You can use whatever for in between layers. I just picture a fudge filled bundt cake on top, filled with strawberries or something.
