I took a tour of the Martin guitar company near me in PA a couple of years ago. Fascinating process, and beautiful guitars. Martin makes some of the best acoustics out there.

my sister worked at Gibson in Kalamazoo for several years….I wandered around in there a few times…just awsome woodcraft back then….when a flaw was discovered in the body finish, they would pull the neck and pickups, switches etc and bandsaw the body in half…for any small flaw
