I don’t think that a party as large as the GOP could be called racist. However, there is far, far, far too much tolerance for racist attitudes in the GOP amongst elected officials. In addition, the ‘birther’ issue is also one I feel is inextricably tied to race.

It’s def. not the GOP I grew up in anymore… I think letting the Dixiecrats in for whatever reason was one big ass mistake.
