Yeah. In general I think shit like that just winds up getting gamed. That’s one reason I want a 0% corporate tax rate. Corporations lobby their asses off and spend billions dodging taxes, and are largely successful. That’s all totally wasted wealth, money producing nothing. I’d much rather target individual incomes than corporate ones.

Of course, I think we need a lot more regulation of finance in different ways, I just don’t think taxation and regulation should be intertwined in the way they often are. I may be wrong about this— it’s a highly complex area— but that’s one reason I think we should simplify.
