Many did not act rationally, I agree. That is their choice.
Many did. I mean it. They weighed up the cost-benefit analysis and decided we were better off outside the EU.
To me, many of those costs and benefits are still unknown - it depends on how the final exit happens really. I tend towards caution and we know what we will get inside the EU.
What percentage really, truly understood in a fairly specific sense what it would mean to leave the EU? Do you think many understood the impact on movement of goods? Or that it could re-kindle conflict in Northern Ireland?
