There’s a whole lot of “here’s why white people can oppose her without being racist” racist stuff in there.

Except she never said she’s “African-American”. She says she’s black. Which she is. Most Jamaicans are.

Other black people who aren’t African-American — Haitians. Dominicans. A significant percentage of Panamanians. Americans whose parents or grandparents came from Trinidad or the Bahamas or other West Indies islands. Americans and Brits and French and Norwegians whose parents or grandparents came from Nigeria or Kenya. French people whose parents or grandparents were from Angola. Israelis whose parents or grandparents were from Ethiopia or Sudan.
