Christian groups that make frequent use of the name “yahweh” are usually Identity groups, Covenant groups, Christian groups who see themselves as the inheritors of the promises made to the Jewish nation. There are many Identity groups that are harmless, but certain of these groups are ones who lean to white supremacist and christian militia activities…

It’s a catch word for a lot of odd groups.
