The huge problem is that (aside from Trident) most of the programmes are already comitted too and contracts written prototypes built etc. It’s a mess, an absolute epic mess that started under her reign with Eurofighter.

They just will not make the decision that needs to be made - which is ditching trident.

They are cutting across the board regardless of potential down the line savings.

For example - they are cutting the UK film council which takes a few million pounds from government but returns that hundred fold to the economy.

You can expect such cuts from your next GOP congress - if they gain any budgetary power.
