Related Pro Tip: the new cast iron pans suck, don’t even bother. They’ve got some kind of a bumpy texture that fucks their shit up. No matter how long you season them they’ll never get that kind of non-stick surface your great grandmother’s pan had. The good vintage stuff is on Ebay, has a machined flat surface.
