So the Landrieu “keep your plan” bill would let people keep their crappy plans—and thus stay out of the exchanges—indefinitely. F0ck that.

It is a hard thing to save idiots from themselves.

On the plus side, I suppose, nobody would ever be able to enroll for those plans again. Anybody who ever got good work coverage, and then said LOLBYE to their shitty shit plan, would forever leave those ranks. The numbers would probably be relatively minuscule in short order.

I don’t like it, but it would be a steadily declining problem.
