McGrath has an uphill battle to beat McConnell. It’s not impossible, but it’s going to be a tough slog against one of the most awful men to ever hold office in the US Senate.

But if she pulls it off, then the odds of the Senate going to the Democrats - and the Democrats taking the WH, go up immeasurably (and likely signifies yet another blue wave to add to the tsunuami in 2018).

Very long odds. She lost to Andy Barr, and 4 of the other 5 districts are even redder. Kentucky is old, white and poorly educated; the one thing she has in her favor is no-one likes the Yurtle.
