It’s not hard to imagine a future of all-electric replicars — for folks who can afford them. OTOH some drivers just love the sounds of an IC engine, and a whisper-quiet cruise in an EV just doesn’t thrill them, no matter how quick it is.

That said, I’d buy an electric Jag, if I had the money. Therein lies the rub.
