Ha ha, very funny. In reality, Mitt Romney will continue approvals of disaster funding, just like Barack Obama. He might try to devolve and decentralize some command authority, but he’s not going to try to eliminate disaster relief funding, whatever he might have said in the primary.

I think that is wishful thinking. Stephen Colbert said it best…what is sending emergency management back to the states going to do when that state is no longer functioning? What about when it crosses state lines? Who takes the lead? It’s insanity to think that the FEDERAL Emergency Management isn’t a benefit. It only sucks when you put inept and unqualified people in charge of it (as Bush did with Brownie, not to mention Chertoff who said “we never thought something like this could happen” It is their job to calculate worst case scenarios!)
