A few years ago, I would not have believed that apologists for the Confederacy actually existed.

Revisionist history, denial of science and elevating faith over reason in all matters seem to be the bedrock principles of the GOP cargo cult.

Confederate apologists I knew about. I had even heard of Holocaust deniers, although I never met one until I went to JREF. The ones that took me aback were Pearl Harbor revisionists.
