I don’t live in Chicago, but I’d love to see Rahm get his comeuppance.

I live in Cook County, I work in Chicago, my parents live there, and I’m pulling for Emanuel. Not because I like the man, but because I don’t think Garcia is up to the job. I don’t think he’s got the connections and alliances needed to run Chicago, and he would be far less likely to be on good terms with Governor Rauner. Chicago’s mayor and Illinois’s governor have clashed before, and while both officers have won at least one of those clashes, the state of Illinois has always lost in some way.
