I’m not really sure how much deeper they can dig. You’d have thought that, after the Ryan Plan, there was no way to go but down. But, instead, they came out of the debt ceiling debate sitting fairly pretty. They got everything they wanted and are now playing the downgrade against Obama.

don’t totally disregard buyers remorse…after BO himself is dealing with a boatload of it…winning in the House does not necessarily mean pleasing the voters
