And cops are now busy with Covid stuff now, and social distancing. Some older cops probably have to social distance as well, so there’s some fewer cops on the beat too. So a lot of people are getting away with stuff that would be better policed in better time. When the streets are empty….

One thing I”ve noticed is that my deliveries from Amazon come a lot quicker than expected. I think it’s because drivers are also going faster and no longer have to manuever around rush hour traffic any more. I’m going to be pretty bummed when it goes back to normal traffic and things that come early come much more slowly

I have noticed this as well. My take on it isn’t that they are driving faster though. My theory is that with so many small businesses closed, the number of commercial deliveries have fallen allowing for earlier residential deliveries to made.
