Our Childrens’ hospital, one of the best in the country, has set up a freaking tent to handle emergency drive-through H1N1 and other flulike illness cases, and it’s still 80 degrees down here.

You’re in Austin? They need to shut down the schools down there for a few days to slow the pace of the spread…it’s frankly idiotic to think that missing 3 or 4 days of elementary school is going to consign kids to illiteracy or anything.
