I couldn’t agree more. “Today’s generation shackled to the words of their ancestors,” indeed.

The current French constitution has been amended 24 times since 1958. And that requires the consent of both Chambers.

The Alabama Constitution of 1901 has been amended 926 times. It is the largest governing document in the world. Most of this has been a result of its provisions to prevent self-determination in locales with Black majorities.

Be careful what you wish for.
